Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide high-quality psychotherapy and mental health services tailored to the needs of patients dealing with mental health disorders.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ mental health status to understand emotional, behavioral, and social functioning thoroughly.

• Develop and implement personalized, evidence-based treatment plans that incorporate best practices and reflect cultural competence.

• Utilize electronic health records to document treatment progress, manage patient information, and ensure continuity of care.

• Engage in regular case consultations with the multidisciplinary team to enhance the treatment approach and patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is on individuals receiving treatment at our detox center, many of whom face dual diagnoses involving both mental health and substance use disorders. This entails a nuanced understanding of co-occurring conditions and the ability to provide holistic treatment strategies that address both mental health and addiction issues.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• Proven ability to establish rapport and effectively communicate with patients from diverse backgrounds.

• Strong clinical skills, particularly in conducting thorough assessments and devising treatment plans that are informed by research and best practices.

• Familiarity with electronic health records and other telehealth tools to optimize patient care management.
