Your primary interactions will be with clients via telehealth platforms, allowing you to perform assessments, facilitate therapy sessions, and monitor progress in a comfortable setting that prioritizes client confidentiality and comfort. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to accurately identify clients' needs, including psychological, emotional, and social factors that impact their recovery.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic methods tailored to each client’s unique circumstances.

• Facilitate therapy sessions that address the diverse needs of individuals, couples, and families, deploying various therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing.

• Monitor clients' progression toward their recovery goals, engaging them in regularly scheduled reviews to adapt treatment plans as necessary.

• Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions and treatment progress in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines, ensuring confidentiality is upheld.

• Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities, utilizing workshops, webinars, and relevant literature to stay informed about the latest advances in clinical practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily involves working with individuals experiencing substance use disorders and related co-occurring mental health issues. You will support a varied demographic, including adults from diverse cultural backgrounds, each with their unique experiences and recovery paths. A deep understanding of the challenges faced by these individuals will be crucial in providing effective and empathetic care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or higher in Social Work from an accredited program.

• An active Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) license in the State of Massachusetts.

• Demonstrated experience providing therapeutic services to individuals, families, and couples, particularly within a mental health or recovery setting.

• Proficiency in utilizing evidence-based practices and therapeutic approaches in your clinical work.

Compensation and Benefits\n
