This position is primarily remote, allowing LCSWs to engage with students and families from the comfort of their own home. Key Responsibilities\n

• Develop personalized treatment plans that outline the strengths, deficits, and high-risk psychosocial needs of patients.

• Facilitate educational and therapeutic groups, carefully documenting patient goals and responses to therapeutic activities.

• Attend treatment-planning meetings to collaborate with the healthcare team; share feedback and updates on patient progress and resistance.
\n
• Identify and address resistance and conflict in interactions with clients, families, and team members; utilize interventions to reduce tension and enhance client coping mechanisms.
\n
• Compile and maintain accurate patient records in accordance with social work standards, documenting assessments, interventions, updates, and case closures.
\n
• Apply the DSM diagnostic criteria for children and adolescents effectively and understand human growth and development relative to age-related tasks.
\n
• Utilize principles of behavior modification and supportive therapy in developing effective treatment strategies.
\n
• Conduct thorough assessments of patients and their families’ medical, social, and emotional conditions using effective interviewing techniques and collaborative consultation with the healthcare team.

• Regularly revise treatment plans based on ongoing psychosocial assessments that consider the family's strengths, concerns, and cultural values.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LCSW will primarily work with children and adolescents in a school setting who face a variety of challenges affecting their mental health. These may include social anxiety, behavioral issues, learning disabilities, and trauma-related stressors. The therapist will employ evidence-based practices to support students in achieving emotional stability and academic success.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health discipline.

• Must possess an independent LCSW license to practice.

• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR is essential.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, families, and educational staff.

• Strong organizational skills and the capacity to manage multiple cases effectively.
