National Account Sales Manager - Off Price

The National Account Sales Manager (NASM) – Adult Licensed Accessories will spearhead the company’s efforts to maintain and expand relationships within the Off-Price retail channel. This New York-based role is responsible for driving sales growth, managing strategic retail partnerships, and executing business development initiatives across major Off-Price accounts. The ideal candidate will possess deep experience selling adult licensed accessories, including bags, cold weather, socks, headwear, fashion accessories, and small leather goods into Off-Price retailers. This individual must bring a strong understanding of retail merchandising, closeout opportunities, trend-right product assortments, and licensing dynamics. This role requires a highly collaborative sales professional capable of partnering cross-functionally with merchandising, product development, operations, licensing, and executive leadership teams to maximize revenue opportunities and strengthen retailer relationships. The NASM will serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts and will be responsible for achieving seasonal sales targets, identifying white space opportunities, and managing all phases of the customer lifecycle from setup through shipment execution. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES New York based position reports directly to the Vice President of Sales for the Adult Accessories Division Manage and grow strategic Off-Price retail accounts within assigned territory Serve as the primary point of contact for buyers, assistant buyers, and retailer support teams Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth within the Adult Licensed Accessories category Identify new business opportunities and expand existing retail partnerships Present trend-right product assortments aligned with customer and market needs Secure purchase orders and manage all order details including pricing, shipping windows, vendor compliance, routing requirements, and vendor agreements Coordinate customer onboarding, account setup, and internal order management documentation Partner cross-functionally with merchandising, product development, production, and operations teams to ensure successful execution Communicate packaging requirements, sample needs, licensing approvals, and production updates to internal teams and customers Negotiate shipment changes, discounts, and cancellation requests as needed Monitor order status and proactively resolve issues to support on-time delivery and customer satisfaction Conduct market research, retail store visits, and competitive analysis to identify trends and growth opportunities Maintain accurate customer records, forecasts, sales reports, and seasonal business reviews Attend customer meetings, trade shows, and market appointments while contributing relevant business insights during internal sales meetings QUALIFICATIONS Ideal candidate would: Consider it to be an honor and a privilege to be part of the hottest, most creative, dynamic company in the industry Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business, Marketing, Merchandising, or related field Minimum 5+ years of proven sales experience within Adult Licensed Accessories Strong existing relationships within the Off-Price retail channel strongly preferred Demonstrated experience selling into retailers such as Ross, Burlington, TJX, Marshalls, DD’s Discounts, Gabe’s, Bealls, and other value retailers Strong knowledge of licensed brands, entertainment properties, and consumer trends Experience managing complex retail accounts and negotiating business terms Excellent presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines simultaneously Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Experience working within ERP/order management systems preferred Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with strong attention to detail Ability to travel as needed for customer meetings, market appointments, and trade shows #J-18808-Ljbffr BIOWORLD MERCHANDISING
