Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments that respect and integrate patients’ cultural backgrounds and personal experiences to develop tailored treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions suited to the individual’s needs, applying modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions aimed at addressing various mental health concerns, enhancing resilience, and promoting overall well-being.

• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers to provide comprehensive mental health care.

• Respond proactively in crisis situations, offering immediate intervention and support for clients experiencing mental health emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health challenges, treatment options, and community resources, empowering them to navigate their healthcare journey effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will predominantly involve serving a wide range of clients, including those from diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds, individuals within the LGBTQ+ community, and immigrant populations. You will leverage your cultural competence to understand their unique needs better and provide care that resonates with their life experiences and belief systems.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.

• Current and valid license to practice as a Mental Health Counselor in Arizona.

• Experience in delivering mental health services, particularly in outpatient settings, is highly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
