Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to understand their physical condition and limitations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on the specific needs and goals of each patient.
• Implement therapeutic exercises and techniques, providing patients with expert instruction on proper usage to maximize their recovery.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques, including stimulation and massage, to assist in the healing process.
• Guide patients in the use of mobility devices such as wheelchairs and walkers to enhance their independence and safety.
• Keep detailed records of patient progress, treatment outcomes, and goals to ensure clear communication with the healthcare team.
• Engage with patients and their families to provide education on in-home treatment options and exercises to support ongoing recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a diverse patient population, encompassing individuals of all ages and varying diagnoses. You will work with pediatric and adult patients, helping them navigate challenges related to injury recovery, chronic pain management, and post-operative rehabilitation. Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is required.
• Possession of a valid physical therapy license in the state of Virginia.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
