Key Responsibilities

Your role as a Physical Therapist will encompass a variety of responsibilities, aimed at delivering individualized care:

• Conduct initial consultations to assess patients' physical conditions, limitations, and needs.
• Diagnose movement dysfunctions and create tailored treatment plans that incorporate therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities.
• Instruct patients on the correct application of therapeutic techniques, ensuring their proficiency for safe and effective rehabilitation.
• Utilize advanced therapies, including massage and electrical stimulation, to promote healing and improve physical function.
• Guide patients in using assistive devices, such as wheelchairs and walkers, enhancing their mobility and independence.
• Continuously monitor patient progress by maintaining detailed records of treatment goals and outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about in-home treatment strategies and exercises that can help sustain rehabilitation efforts.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates must possess:

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• A valid physical therapy license in Virginia.

• Ability to maneuver in various home environments, showcasing physical agility and flexibility.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
