Position Type Part Time Pay Rate $17.00 / Hour Job Schedule Tue: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Wed: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Thur: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM What You'll Do Provide customer service at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and notifying appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random foot and/or mobile patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns. Monitor access points and public areas, assist with visitor and staff inquiries, and report maintenance, hazards, and/or security-related issues according to site procedures. Minimum Requirements Customer service experience is preferred. A guard card/license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
