Position Security Officer Unarmed Rover Patrol in Albuquerque, NM Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $16.43 per Hour Job Schedule: Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat – 04:00 PM – 12:00 AM What You'll Do Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a government location. Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and communicate with site personnel and/or public visitors as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and/or identify conditions that may require attention. Monitor access points and observe visitor and staff movement in accordance with site procedures, documenting incidents and/or concerns through required reports and communication channels. Support daily operations by following post orders, reporting maintenance or access concerns, and assisting with directions and general information for employees, visitors, and/or members of the public. Minimum Requirements CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
