Join Allied Universal as a driving patrol professional at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support staff and visitors through strong customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Sun: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor entrances, exits, and public areas, verify access permissions when required, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or maintenance‑related issues. Support daily operations by completing incident reports, communicating with local authorities and/or emergency personnel when appropriate, and following post orders for assigned duties. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A guard card and/or license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
