Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 04:00 PM - 11:59 PM Tue: 04:00 PM - 11:59 PM Fri: 04:00 PM - 11:59 PM Sat: 04:00 PM - 11:59 PM Sun: 04:00 PM - 11:59 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, following post orders, and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate at a government location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, offices, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and communicate with staff and/or the public regarding site rules, directions, and security-related procedures. Prepare detailed incident, activity, and patrol reports, and relay important updates to supervisors, client representatives, and/or public agency contacts as needed. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Customer service experience is preferred. A guard card and/or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
