Essential Responsibilities: Provide direct and delegated patient care, recognizing normal and abnormal health indicators to identify at-risk patients. Deliver care aligned with established standards and guidelines. Respond promptly to patient phone inquiries, triaging as necessary while offering reassurance, education, and clear instructions. Facilitate efficient healthcare delivery during patient visits by preparing patients for examinations, obtaining vital signs, and documenting medical histories and chief complaints. Observe and report abnormal patient signs to physicians, ensuring accurate and timely medical record documentation. Assist with testing and treatment procedures under physician supervision, including applying splints, dressings, and managing sample medications and logs. Coordinate patient testing, admissions, referrals, and follow-up on test results, ensuring patients understand physician instructions upon discharge. Support minor surgical preparations and physical exams, obtaining necessary consents for invasive procedures and immunizations. Distribute educational materials and assist patients in understanding treatment plans and medication usage. Perform laboratory tests and maintain laboratory logs as prescribed. Maintain clinical areas by stocking supplies, ensuring cleanliness, sterilizing instruments, and verifying equipment functionality. Perform additional duties as assigned to support clinical operations. Education and Experience Required: Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing Program.
