Founded in 2012, Daniel Parker State Farm is a Tulsa-based agency serving individuals, families and business owners throughout Oklahoma. Our team brings together more than 165 years of experience across insurance and financial services, with professional backgrounds that include commercial insurance, banking, residential lending, customer service and financial services.

Daniel has more than 25 years of insurance and financial-services experience, earned a B.S. in Biomedical Chemistry from Oral Roberts University and holds FINRA 6, 63 and 65 registrations. His agency is also a six-time State Farm President’s Club recipient.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:
As Customer Relations Representative - State Farm Agent Team Member for Daniel Parker - State Farm Agent, you are an important part of the ongoing service our customers receive after they join the agency. You help customers manage policy changes, billing questions, coverage needs, claims and other insurance issues while making sure important details are handled accurately and followed through to completion.

This role is well suited for someone who takes ownership, enjoys solving problems and is comfortable working through situations where the answer is not always immediately obvious. As your knowledge grows, you will have opportunities to handle more complicated customer situations, broaden your insurance knowledge and take on greater responsibility within the agency.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist existing customers with policy changes, billing questions, coverage updates and other service needs. 
• Help customers begin the claims process and understand appropriate next steps. 
• Review customer accounts to identify changes that may affect insurance needs or coverage. 
• Explain coverage, options and policy information in clear, practical language. 
• Research service issues, identify answers and follow through until the customer knows what comes next. 
• Maintain accurate customer information, documentation and follow-up. 
• Recognize situations that require additional review and involve experienced team members when appropriate. 
• Identify opportunities to discuss additional insurance needs when customer circumstances change. 
• Support customer retention through responsive service, proactive communication and consistent follow-through. 
• Manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. 
• Meet individual service and production expectations while maintaining a customer-focused approach. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2–5+ years of insurance, claims, underwriting, agency operations or customer-service experience preferred.
• Property and casualty insurance license strongly preferred. 
• Life and health insurance licensing is a plus. 
• Experience servicing personal-lines or commercial insurance accounts is particularly valuable. 
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to research issues rather than simply pass them along. 
• Takes ownership of assigned work and follows through without needing constant direction.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate work. 
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities and determining what needs attention first. 
• Able to communicate calmly and professionally with customers who may be frustrated or confused. 
• Comfortable working through situations where the answer is not immediately obvious and identifying the next appropriate step. 
• Recognizes when a situation requires additional expertise and collaborates effectively with experienced team members. 
• Interested in continuing to build technical insurance knowledge and professional responsibility.
