Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments by meeting with clients to understand their individual goals, preferences, and available options, laying the groundwork for their rehabilitation journey.

• Develop personalized rehabilitation plans that reflect clients’ unique education levels, physical abilities, and career aspirations, while continuously modifying these plans in response to their progress.
\n
• Collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and psychologists, to create and implement effective rehabilitation strategies tailored to each client's situation.
\n
• Maintain detailed client case files and records documenting personal information, eligibility, insurance, services rendered, and ongoing communication, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
\n
• Closely monitor and document client progress, adjusting rehabilitation strategies as necessary to support the achievement of their goals.
\n
• Engage with clients during job training, occupational placements, and other programs to provide continuous support and address any challenges that may arise.
\n
• Coordinate with clients' family and support systems to ensure comprehensive care and facilitate effective communication about their needs.
\n
• Conduct timely analysis of client needs and document comprehensive reports to guide future sessions and care planning.
\n
• Provide timely recommendations and referrals to external resources to enhance client care and support their recovery efforts.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Licensed Professional Counselor at Millennia Counseling will work primarily with clients who present challenges related to mental health issues, including mood disorders and emotional distress. You will be instrumental in assisting these individuals in developing coping strategies, enhancing interpersonal skills, and establishing pathways toward sustainable living and employment.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
\n
• A valid and active Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) licensure recognized in Tennessee.
\n
• Demonstrated experience working with individuals facing mental health or mood disorders in either residential or outpatient settings.
\n
• A collaborative spirit and a passion for fostering positive change in clients' lives, effectively contributing to a team-driven culture.

• Strong clinical skills, including proficiency in motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and comprehensive documentation practices.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in vocational rehabilitation or career counseling is a plus.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth technologies.
