As a remote position, you will have the flexibility to work from the comfort of your home while being part of a dedicated outpatient clinic team based in Rancho Cucamonga, California. Key Responsibilities\n

Your essential duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Conducting initial and ongoing assessments of clients to determine their mental health needs and create comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual circumstances.

• Providing effective individual, family, and group therapy sessions that address clients’ unique challenges and strengths.

• Developing and implementing follow-up treatment strategies to monitor client progress, modifying approaches as necessary to ensure optimal care.

• Actively participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to collaborate on treatment objectives and share insights that advance client care.

• Documenting all therapy sessions, assessments, and treatment plans accurately in our electronic health record system to comply with regulatory standards and safeguard client confidentiality.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily centers on working with individuals facing substance use issues intertwined with mental health disorders. You will engage with a diverse client base, which includes adults and adolescents who come from various backgrounds and walks of life. Addressing relational dynamics will be crucial as many clients may be entrenched within family systems or partnerships that contribute to their mental health challenges.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• A valid and current license in good standing as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• All licenses must be active, not suspended or under probationary status.

• Ability to meet pre-employment requirements, including tuberculosis screening, criminal background checks, drug testing, and reference evaluations.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience working in mental health counseling or therapy, ideally within a substance abuse and co-occurring disorders context.

Compensation and Benefits\n
