NOTE: This is NOT a seasonal position Mad Science of Hampton Roads has been delivering educational and entertaining science programs for elementary‑aged children since 2008. We are looking for a self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and reliable team player that would like to join our team in the role of Equipment Manager. You will be working in a fast‑paced environment. Your main work location will be our office in Chesapeake, but some driving to other locations is required. Responsibilities Ensures kits/equipment are in good condition for all programs Oversees and conducts equipment check-in and check-out procedures Ensure all chemical products are properly labeled and stored Serves as a substitute instructor when needed Qualifications Completes background check Self-motivated Detail-oriented and organized Reliable team player Works well in a fast-paced environment Car and valid driver's license Minimum of 20 years old and 2 years of college, OR equivalent experience in a similar position Hours Flexible schedule within company's standard working hours (Mon‑Fri, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm) Typically 20-25 hours/week in summer; 12-18 hours/week during the school year Typical schedule would be a minimum of 3 days/week, maximum of 5 days Mon‑Fri Each shift of 4-6 hours, such as 8:30 am - 12:30 pm, or 10 am - 4 pm #J-18808-Ljbffr Mad Science of Hampton Roads
