Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough intake assessments for new clients to gather comprehensive information about their mental health history, current challenges, and goals.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that address the specific needs and aspirations of each client, utilizing evidence-based therapies.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at addressing various mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues, using techniques appropriate for each situation.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, to deliver well-rounded support and treatment for patients with complex needs.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops, training, and in-house continuing education opportunities to stay current with industry standards and enhance therapy techniques.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of service delivery by sharing innovative ideas and feedback to enhance program efficacy and client satisfaction.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The counselor will work with a diverse population, including children, adolescents, adults, and families experiencing a range of emotional and psychological challenges. You will develop a deep understanding of each client’s unique circumstances, including cultural backgrounds and personal histories, to foster effective therapeutic relationships.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• An active state license such as LMFT, LMHC, or LCSW, allowing for practice in the state of New York.
\n
• A minimum of two (2) years of professional experience working with clients facing emotional difficulties and mental health disorders.
\n
• Strong interpersonal skills, enabled by the capacity to build rapport with clients quickly and effectively.

• Familiarity with electronic medical records systems is a plus, but not mandatory.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience using telehealth platforms for therapy delivery, as well as familiarity with best practices in remote mental health practices.

• Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities tailored toward varying client needs, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or EMDR.

Compensation and Benefits\n

• Attractive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually , commensurate with experience and hours worked.
