You will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance, fostering a supportive environment, and directly influencing employee satisfaction and retention. What You’ll Do Provide expert support for leave of absence, accommodations, and disability plans, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal laws. Manage all aspects of leave of absence administration, accommodations, and disability support, including complex case escalations. Serve as a primary point of contact for direct employee, manager, and vendor interactions, offering research and resolution for complex issues. Collaborate closely with internal partners such as the HR contact center, legal, and payroll teams, as well as third‑party vendors. Act as a liaison between employees and disability/leave of absence vendors, ensuring proper integration of FMLA administration with short‑term disability plans. Interpret HR policy and legislative developments to maintain compliance across all programs. Respond to and resolve escalations and inquiries from employees, managers, vendors, and internal/external call centers. Partner with legal, HR management, and internal corporate functions to address complex and time‑sensitive issues effectively. Identify root causes of issues and propose solutions to management, contributing to continuous process improvement. Required Skills & Experience Bachelor’s degree in human resources, management, or a related discipline, or equivalent extensive work experience. Minimum of 5 years of dedicated experience in leave of absence, return‑to‑work programs, ADA, extended medical leave programs, short‑term disability, and long‑term disability. Proven experience with ADA & accommodations. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees and leadership. Demonstrated ability to thrive in a high‑volume, fast‑paced, and deadline‑oriented environment. Strong organizational and time‑management skills, with the capacity to execute high‑quality work on time. Experience learning new processes and proactively identifying opportunities to streamline and improve existing practices. Solid HR systems knowledge and experience. Experience working with third‑party disability and leave of absence administrators. Preferred Skills Experience with Workday and ServiceNow.
