Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ psychological and emotional needs to develop personalized treatment plans.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families, and groups, adapting treatment strategies to meet diverse client needs.

• Implement a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy, ensuring treatment is tailored to the client’s unique circumstances.

• Maintain detailed and timely clinical records that comply with legal and ethical standards, ensuring accurate documentation of client progress and treatment plans.

• Engage in ongoing professional development by participating in workshops and staying current with advancements in mental health research to enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your caseload will primarily include clients from diverse backgrounds facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• Current and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey.
\n
• A minimum of two years of clinical counseling experience, demonstrating effective assessment and therapeutic skills.
\n
• Strong understanding of mental health laws and ethical standards governing practice.
\n
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to effectively build rapport with clients and collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) software and other digital communication tools relevant to teletherapy.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in specialized areas such as family therapy, couples counseling, substance use disorders, or trauma-informed care is highly preferred.

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a healthcare team, contributing to multidisciplinary treatment planning and client care.

Compensation and Benefits\n
