Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver mindfulness-based interventions, such as Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), to assist clients in managing stress, relaxation, and overall mental health.

• Conduct in-depth initial assessments to understand clients’ unique stressors, challenges, and personal goals, tailoring mindfulness practices to meet their specific needs.

• Facilitate mindfulness exercises, guided meditation sessions, and breathing techniques to cultivate self-awareness and foster emotional stability in clients.

• Lead engaging group workshops and educational classes focused on mindfulness, stress management, and strategies for building resilience.

• Incorporate individualized mindfulness practices into therapy sessions aimed at addressing specific mental health concerns and supporting overall growth.

• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to integrate mindfulness strategies into client treatment plans, ensuring a holistic approach to mental health care.

• Maintain meticulous and accurate documentation regarding client progress, mindfulness interventions performed, and established treatment plans.

• Commit to ongoing professional development by engaging in personal mindfulness practice and participating in continued education in advanced mindfulness techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse range of clients seeking support for various mental health challenges, including anxiety, stress management, depression, and emotional regulation. Your ability to connect with client experiences through mindfulness-driven therapy will be essential in facilitating effective treatment and improving client outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.

• Experience or training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) practices is preferred but not essential.

• Demonstrated proficiency in integrating mindfulness into therapeutic methodologies.

• Exceptional communication skills, with an emphasis on creating calming and supportive therapeutic environments for clients.
