Program Development Coordinator

Advancing fundraising efforts, the full-time Program Development Coordinator will manage grant writing, reporting, and strategic development initiatives while collaborating with internal stakeholders to create impactful proposals and communications in a remote work environment. Key responsibilities Research and develop a prospect list of grant opportunities to meet funding needs and annual goals Coordinate grant requests by establishing timelines and submitting proposals and reports within deadlines Draft and edit high-quality proposals and reports, ensuring alignment with organizational voice and style Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Communication, English, Journalism, Nonprofit Management, Public Administration, or related field preferred Minimum 1-2 years of experience in grant writing, development communications, or fundraising Graphic design and presentation software experience preferred (e.g., PowerPoint, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) Experience with Raiser's Edge or similar fundraising software preferred Knowledge of metro Detroit foundations and animal welfare is a plus
