This role offers a Monday to Friday schedule, typically from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, fostering a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide expert counseling and crisis intervention to patients, effectively assessing and treating emotional and behavioral challenges.

• Engage in effective communication with interdisciplinary health care teams, promptly reporting patient progress, concerns, and needs.

• Maintain timely and accurate clinical records, including progress and treatment notes, in adherence to departmental policies and regulatory standards.
\n
• Collaborate closely with health care professionals to develop comprehensive treatment and discharge plans based on thorough psychosocial assessments.

• Establish and nurture relationships with community resource leaders, representing Shirley Mental Health Services at meetings and committees focused on addressing local social needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with a diverse population of individuals seeking mental health support, including those navigating anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, and other emotional disturbances. Your insights and therapeutic interventions will play a critical role in enhancing their quality of life and facilitating positive changes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is required.

• Candidates must hold an independent license: Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• Minimum of two years of professional, hands-on experience in a counseling role is essential.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience with telehealth platforms and modalities will be viewed favorably. Additionally, familiarity with evidence-based treatment approaches for mental health conditions will enhance your effectiveness in this role.

Compensation and Benefits\n
