Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, including psychosocial evaluations, diagnostic interviews, and risk assessments to determine patient needs and appropriate interventions.

• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients that take into account their goals, preferences, and cultural backgrounds.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) in both individual and group settings.

• Provide crisis intervention as needed and work closely with other healthcare professionals to guarantee a holistic approach to patient care.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, including progress notes and treatment plans, adhering to all regulatory and clinic policy standards.

• Offer psychoeducation to patients and their families, equipping them with tools to manage mental health challenges effectively.

• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team consisting of psychiatrists, psychologists, and case managers to ensure a well-rounded approach to patient care.

As a remote Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will work with a diverse patient population, ranging from children to adults, who may be experiencing a wide array of mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• Hold a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited educational institution.

• Possess current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Florida.
