Job DetailsJob Location: Hamilton, NJ 08619Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: Law SchoolSalary Range: $130,000.00 - $145,000.00 Salary/year Stark & Stark is actively recruiting for a Litigation Associate for our Hamilton, NJ office to work in Construction Litigation. Responsibilities: The candidate will support the Construction Litigation group attorneys in commercial and multifamily residential construction litigation matters. Responsible for all phases of litigation, with an emphasis on drafting pleadings, engaging in written discovery,taking and defending depositions and oral motion hearings and assistance at trial. Manage general corporate contracts, legal opinions, by-law amendments, rule creation, and litigation. Provide timely and consistent updates on the status of cases and assignments. Work primarily in office, maintaining a physical presence to ensure in-person collaboration and engagement with the team. Participating in trade organizations, conferences and networking events. QualificationsQualifications: Two to four years of experience handling civil litigation matters is required. Strong research and writing skills. Possess superior verbal communication skills. Demonstrate strong integrity and professionalism. Exercise sound judgment and the ability to work autonomously and as an effective member of a team. Must be able to act with a sense of urgency while presenting a calm demeanor. Intellectual curiosity and the ability to solve problems independently. The ideal candidate will have an interest in handling litigation matters. Admission to New Jersey is required. Admission in Pennsylvania is a plus.
