Senior Account Manager, Investment Specialist The Senior Account Manager, Investment Specialist drives traditional and alternative product conversations, placements, discretionary allocations, and servicing discussions across a broad client segment of professional buyers. Key Responsibilities Lead public and private product conversations and secure placements across professional buyers. Possess excellent knowledge of prioritized Nuveen products and capabilities, including alternatives. Encourage team continuity and engagement while advocating broader firm priorities. Serve as primary point of engagement with research and firm discretionary teams to build high‑quality, sustainable relationships. Identify near‑term opportunities related to the sponsor’s lineup of investment options. Seek out co‑product build opportunities working with sponsor firm and Nuveen Product Management. Coordinate with the Head of Investment Specialists and Team Head on needed affiliate‑level interactions and product focuses. Potentially assume personnel management responsibilities over time. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree; business or finance major preferred. At least 10 years of industry experience preferred; 5+ years of account management experience required. CFA, CAIA and/or MBA preferred. Strong organizational capabilities and ability to execute competing priorities. Professional demeanor with high service orientation. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Willingness to travel extensively, potentially more than 3 days per week. Education Requirements University degree preferred (Bachelor’s). CFA, CAIA, BBA, MBA required. Experience Requirements 5+ years required; 7+ years preferred. FINRA Registrations Series7; Series63; Series66 required within 6 months of employment. Physical Requirements Sedentary work. Compensation may include incentive programs linked to performance.
