What Your Role Entails

• Conduct assessments for a wide range of patients, utilizing various methods including standardized testing and direct observation.
• Create customized treatment plans catering to both urgent and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing needs.
• Deliver targeted speech therapy sessions focused on voice, fluency, language, and swallowing challenges.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, physical and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive care for each individual.
• Educate patients and families during sessions to enhance their progress and involvement in the therapy process.
• Engage in inpatient therapy support, providing evaluations as needed, to maintain a continuum of care.
• Keep thorough and compliant documentation reflecting all patient interactions and treatment progress.
• Pursue continuous learning and professional development opportunities to remain at the forefront of the field.

Qualifications We Seek

• A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
• A completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if you are not currently ASHA-certified.

Licensure & Certifications

• Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of employment.

• Expertise in evidence-based treatment practices across age groups, with a solid foundation in both developmental and acquired communication disorders.
• Adept interpersonal communication skills for engaging with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
