Work Environment

This full-time position will primarily be conducted onsite in our modern physical therapy facility. You will be joining a collaborative environment consisting of two physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA). Our work hours are Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a structured yet fulfilling professional experience. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to establish patient goals and needs.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans utilizing various advanced techniques to enhance patient recovery.
• Manage a patient load of one individual per hour, ensuring quality and comprehensive care tailored to each person.
• Utilize knowledge of evidence-based practices to provide cost-effective interventions that promote mobility and functionality.
• Educate and motivate patients through their rehabilitation journeys, emphasizing non-surgical treatments and lifestyle changes.
• Document patient care services accurately and efficiently, maintaining detailed progress records to monitor outcomes.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to integrate care and share insights regarding patient progress and treatment modifications.
• Promote healthy practices among patients to improve overall wellness, including enhancing strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient base largely consists of individuals covered by private medical insurance seeking orthopedic rehabilitation. The diverse demographic includes athletes recovering from sports-related injuries, post-surgical patients needing guided therapy, and individuals looking to regain functionality lost to chronic conditions. Your role will direct impact their journey toward a pain-free and active lifestyle.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in New York State.
• No disciplinary actions against your license, demonstrating a commitment to ethical practice.
• Strong manual therapy skills and ability to develop effective exercise programs based on individual patient needs.
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as WebPT to streamline case management.

Preferred Experience

• Demonstrated experience working in a similar orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with patients and coordinate with team members.
• Ability to adapt treatment strategies based on ongoing assessment and feedback from patients.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
