Our center is equipped with a state-of-the-art 5,000 square-foot sports medicine facility, designed to support a wide variety of treatment programs. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality, personalized care, primarily serving patients with private medical insurance. Our team consists of experienced professionals who are committed to excellence in physical therapy.

Work Environment

This position is onsite at our dynamic rehabilitation facility, where you will collaborate closely with two other experienced Physical Therapists and a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA). Our supportive work environment fosters ongoing learning and improvement, ensuring that our team is equipped with the latest skills and knowledge in physical therapy practices. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify patient goals and needs, customizing treatment plans accordingly.
• Manage 2 to 3 patient sessions per hour, providing focused attention and therapeutic interventions to each individual.
• Implement cost-effective treatment strategies aimed at enhancing client mobility while reducing reliance on medication and invasive procedures.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to develop and deliver intervention strategies that address specific patient challenges.
• Create personalized fitness and wellness programs targeting patients' unique health requirements.
• Monitor patient progress, evaluating outcomes and adjusting care plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery.
• Document all patient interactions and treatments comprehensively, adhering to all compliance and regulatory standards.
• Provide motivation and support during therapy sessions to encourage patient engagement in their recovery.
• Collaborate with fellow health professionals to ensure comprehensive care and improved patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Physio Recovery Center, you will work primarily with individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and conditions that affect their movement. Our diverse patient population includes athletes, active adults, and older individuals seeking to maintain mobility and independence. Your work will not only focus on restoring physical abilities but also on empowering patients to engage in healthier lifestyles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT preferred).
• Valid Physical Therapist License in New York with no board or disciplinary actions on record.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise prescriptions.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) software, preferably WebPT, to streamline patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Strong background in developing tailored rehabilitation programs and working with diverse patient populations.

Compensation and Benefits

In appreciation of your expertise and commitment, we offer a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 – 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
