Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of clients' mood disorder symptoms, using standardized assessment tools and clinical interviews.

• Collaborate with clients to create individualized treatment plans that reflect their unique needs, aspirations, and preferences, incorporating goals for therapy and intervention strategies.

• Utilize evidence-based treatment modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address the specific symptoms of mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder.

• Provide education and support to clients and their families, equipping them with information about mood disorders, available resources, and effective self-care practices to enhance their therapeutic journey.

• Continuously monitor clients' progress through regular check-ins and updates to their treatment plans, ensuring that they are responsive to their evolving needs.

• Establish and maintain professional relationships with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to facilitate a multidisciplinary approach to client care, ensuring comprehensive management of treatment.

• Stay informed on current research and best practices in the treatment of mood disorders and apply relevant findings to enhance therapeutic outcomes.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of client interactions, treatment sessions, and progress notes in accordance with legal, ethical, and organizational guidelines.

• Participate in team meetings and case consultations to share insights, seek feedback, and enhance clinical skills, fostering a culture of learning within the organization.

• Advocate fiercely for clients, promoting awareness and destigmatization of mental health issues while ensuring all client needs are addressed adequately.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary populations served by our therapists include adults and adolescents experiencing mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and related psychological conditions. Our clients come from various backgrounds, and we are dedicated to providing culturally competent care that respects each individual's unique experiences and challenges.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited institution in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Active state licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Psychologist.

• Strong knowledge of and proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities, particularly CBT and DBT.

• Understanding of psychopharmacology—as the role requires collaboration with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to optimize client care.

• Demonstrated success in the treatment of mood disorders supported by clinical outcomes and client feedback.

• Exceptional communication abilities, particularly in establishing rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds and fostering therapeutic alliances.

Compensation and Benefits\n
