Job Title

The Berkeley City Club is a historic hotel, event space, restaurant and bar, and social club. Originally opened in 1930 as the Berkeley Women's City Club, our architect Julia Morgan's unique Moorish-gothic vision comes to life through soaring arches, ornamental architecture, inviting courtyards, and a breathtaking indoor pool. We are looking for an enthusiastic team player who loves interacting with the public. In this role, you will greet members and guests via phone and email as well as in person while maintaining a welcoming and professional atmosphere.

• Greet and assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures.
• Bright personality with a guest-focused mindset.
• Open and willing to work in a multicultural environment
• Highly organized with the ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Excellent interpersonal skills with guests and fellow team members
• High attention to detail
• Willingness to learn new tasks

What You'll Bring

• Previous hotel front desk or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Proficient in hotel management software ClubEssential and AutoClerk.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Google Drive, Docs, and Sheets.
• Ability to work independently and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Availability to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
