Production Assembler – Auburn Hills, MI
Temp-to-Hire Opportunity

We are seeking qualified candidates for Production Assembler roles with a global manufacturing company located in Auburn Hills, MI .

Shift

• Monday – Thursday: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Friday/Saturday: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (depending on assigned work area)

Job Duties

• Read blueprints, diagrams, schematics, and work instructions to perform complex assembly operations.
• Work independently or as part of a team under the guidance of a team leader.
• Operate machinery to perform electrical and mechanical assembly tasks, including:
• • Wiring
  • Securing bolts
  • Using torque tools
  • Installing rivets into bushings
  • Inserting clips into slots
  • Positioning parts into fixtures
• Operate hi-lo (forklift), stacker, and overhead cranes as required.
• Use scanning devices, printers, computers, hoists, and other production equipment.
• Inspect parts for quality defects.
• Participate in problem-solving activities and assist with corrective actions.
• Handle equipment, materials, and suspect materials according to established procedures.
• Follow all 6S requirements and perform daily safety checks.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–3 years of manufacturing assembly experience preferred.
• Ability to perform repetitive work and lift 20–40 lbs .
• Ability to perform stationary work with long cycle times.
• Ability to regularly twist, bend, walk, and stand for extended periods.
• Experience using power tools, wrenches, and scanning devices.
• Willingness to work overtime, including weekends when required.
• Reliable transportation.
