Educate patients and their families to reinforce progress beyond therapy sessions.

Engage in occasional inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions to maintain seamless care throughout the recovery process.

Document clinical records promptly and accurately according to state, federal, and organizational standards.

A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.

Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet certified by ASHA.

State license to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist.

Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of starting employment.

Skilled in evidence-based treatment techniques applicable for all age groups while understanding developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders.

Able to modify therapy approaches to address various cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
