Create tailored treatment plans that encompass immediate goals alongside comprehensive long-term communication and swallowing strategies.
Deliver personalized speech therapy sessions that center around language, fluency, voice, and swallowing challenges.
Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to construct integrative care plans that address the holistic needs of each patient.
Provide essential education to patients and families to empower them in their therapeutic journey outside of clinical environments.
Occasionally conduct inpatient evaluations and interventions, ensuring a seamless path through the healthcare system.
Document patient progress accurately and promptly, adhering to all regulatory standards.
Engage in continual learning and professional development, staying abreast of the latest trends and practices in speech-language pathology.
A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
Successful completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if you are yet to achieve ASHA certification.
Licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of Texas.
Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
Solid proficiency in evidence-oriented therapeutic approaches for individuals of all ages, paired with a keen insight into speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
Exceptional communication skills that foster strong relationships with patients, family members, and multi-disciplinary teams.
Adept at tailoring therapeutic approaches to resonate with diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
