Step into an impactful role supporting students’ growth as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) serving school-aged children. This flexible, part-time opportunity focuses on helping middle and elementary school students enhance their communication skills in an educational setting. The assignment is scheduled from August 11, 2026, through May 19, 2027, with a consistent weekly schedule every Wednesday and Friday, totaling around 15 hours each week.

Your expertise will be vital to a collaborative school environment, where speech services are instrumental in maximizing student success. The precise caseload is still being finalized, with a strong likelihood of working across both middle and elementary schools within the district.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) issued by ASHA
• Valid state SLP license (must be submitted with application)
• Experience in school-based settings, particularly with middle and elementary-aged children, is preferred
• Effective communicator with educators, families, and students
• Skilled in assessment, intervention, and individualized education planning for students

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and provide therapy to students with communication needs
• Document progress, collaborate with educational teams, and participate in IEP meetings
• Support academic achievement by fostering communication, language, and social skills
• Adapt therapy approaches as needed based on caseload and individual student requirements
