Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a vital role supporting students’ communication development in a dynamic school setting near Wichita, KS. As a contract Speech-Language Pathologist, you'll primarily work with middle school students, with the potential to also serve elementary learners. Your expertise will help shape positive educational outcomes throughout the academic year.

Key Qualifications:

• Active CCC-SLP certification required
• Valid, current state SLP license (license must be provided prior to client submission)
• Previous school-based SLP experience preferred, particularly at the middle or elementary levels
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Comfortable adapting to varying caseloads and assignments

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy services aligned with IEPs
• Assess, diagnose, and track students’ speech, language, and communication progress
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support each student’s unique needs
• Maintain accurate and compliant records, progress notes, and documentation
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the multidisciplinary team dynamic
• Adapt therapy plans to accommodate a potentially shifting caseload and site assignments

Key Details:

• Part-time contract: Wednesdays and Fridays, approximately 15 hours each week
• Contract dates: August 11, 2026, through May 19, 2027
• Caseload assignments and specific school locations are currently being finalized, with a likely focus on middle and elementary students
