This full-time position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting to accommodate clinicians' needs while ensuring that clients receive top-notch therapy services. The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility to adjust hours based on patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and culturally informed mental health assessments to gain insight into the unique experiences of each patient, informing the development of personalized treatment plans.

• Implement a variety of evidence-based therapeutic interventions that are specifically tailored to meet the individual’s cultural and personal backgrounds.

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions, addressing a range of mental health concerns and fostering resilience among clients.

• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists and psychologists to ensure coordinated care and comprehensive treatment for each client.

• Offer immediate crisis intervention services and support to clients experiencing mental health emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, therapeutic options, and relevant community resources, enhancing their overall understanding and involvement.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of client progress and treatment plans in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards of practice.

• Engage in regular case conferences and team meetings, contributing to ongoing cultural competency training sessions and sharing insights with peers.

• Stay current with the latest research and best practices within the field of mental health, continuously refining your therapeutic skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The focus of our services is on providing support for individuals from diverse backgrounds. You will have the opportunity to engage with clients struggling with various mental health disorders, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related conditions, and family dynamics. This role emphasizes cultural competence, requiring therapists to adapt their methodologies to meet the distinct needs of every patient, influenced by their cultural identity and personal experiences.

Qualifications\n

• Possession of a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A valid and current license as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.

• Thorough knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment methodologies, combined with a strong sense of cultural sensitivity.

• Proven experience delivering individual and group therapy through culturally responsive techniques.

• Excellent crisis intervention skills and the ability to maintain professionalism in high-pressure situations.

• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, fostering effective relationships with a diverse range of individuals.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other digital applications for therapy documentation.

• Commitment to upholding professional ethics, confidentiality, and patient trust.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working within a multicultural mental health setting or providing therapy to marginalized populations.

• Training in specific therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Solution-Focused Therapy, among others.

Compensation and Benefits\n
