Job Title : Accounts Receivable Specialist

Location:  1 Becton Drive, Franklin Lakes New Jersey 07417

Shift:          In-person 4 days/week (Mon–Thu) at FLKS or Branchburg; remote Friday.

Job Summary:

Responsible for managing customer accounts, collections, reconciliations, and resolving billing/payment issues. The role supports cash flow, reduces past-due balances, and maintains accurate AR records.

Must Have:

• Aging Analysis and deliquency management
• Collections strategies and follow up activities
• Experience working with Excel
• Identifying and resolving payment discrepancies

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage customer accounts and monitor aging receivables.
• Contact customers by phone/email regarding outstanding payments.
• Investigate invoice disputes, deductions, credit memos, and short payments.
• Reconcile accounts and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, Pricing, and Finance teams.
• Prepare statements, aging reports, and collection reports.
• Support cash application and month-end AR activities.
• Maintain accurate collection documentation and follow internal controls/SOX requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve collection processes.
• Use AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot to improve collection efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
• 5–7 years of credit and collections experience.
• Experience in a shared services or high-volume environment.
• Strong AR, reconciliation, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with financial systems and reporting tools.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
