Work Environment\n

This position offers a remote work setting , allowing flexibility while still maintaining essential connections with colleagues and patients. Our outpatient office serves as a central hub for assessments and in-person consultations, ensuring that you have a balanced work-life dynamic. Regular office hours are set from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, providing structure while enabling you to dedicate time to patient care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive initial evaluations of patients to assess their mental health needs, promoting an understanding of their background and current challenges.

• Develop individualized treatment plans based on evidence and best practices tailored to each patient's unique situation and needs.

• Engage with patients through regular therapy sessions, actively listening to their concerns, guiding them through coping mechanisms, and adjusting treatment strategies as necessary.

• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, revising treatment plans to adapt to evolving patient needs and outcomes.

• Educate both patients and staff on effective stress management and trauma coping techniques, enhancing the overall wellness culture within our organization.

• Collaborate with external healthcare providers, social services, and community organizations to connect patients with supplementary resources that foster their recovery.

• Continuously pursue professional development through continuing education courses to maintain your National Certified Counselor certification, as well as staying current with the latest mental health practices and methodologies.

You will primarily focus on a diverse group of trauma patients who may be facing a range of emotional and psychological challenges. Our clinic caters to individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma, whether from accidents, personal relationships, or other life-altering events. By utilizing a comprehensive approach to mental health care, you will help guide these individuals toward healing and personal growth.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field is required.

• A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) certification.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience working directly with trauma patients, demonstrating a strong foundation in therapeutic practices and interventions.
