Key Responsibilities

• Review Bond Program invoices and encumbrances and process them in accordance with established accounting procedures.
• Assist with financial analysis of ongoing Bond Program activities.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies or inconsistencies in invoice documentation promptly.
• Ensure accurate entry of invoices and encumbrances in PMIS (Proliance), with complete supporting documentation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues between Proliance and Costpoint.
• Review payment requests to ensure compliance with bond requirements and regulations.
• Reconcile financial accounts and escrow bank statements.
• Prepare journal entries, debit memos, and credit memos as needed.
• Support efforts to identify accounting errors and recommend process improvements to reduce recurring issues.
• Develop reports and assist with form updates to improve transparency in Bond Program expenditures.
• Communicate with vendors, contractors, and professional service providers as required.
• Coordinate with internal departments and campus stakeholders to resolve invoice and payment issues and obtain necessary approvals.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Finance and Accounting Manager.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in invoice processing or accounts payable.
• Associate degree or college certificate (additional relevant experience may substitute for education on a year-for-year basis).
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Excel and Word, and familiarity with business enterprise systems.
• Ability to perform financial analysis, including trend analysis and recommendation of corrective actions.
• Strong skills in financial reporting and data analysis.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
