This fully remote full-time role empowers you to focus on providing high-quality clinical care while we manage administrative tasks. As part of our network, you will conduct therapy sessions via video conferencing, phone calls, and, when necessary, in-person consultations. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Utilizing advanced clinical interviewing and assessment techniques to evaluate the needs of individuals, families, and groups seeking therapy.

• Managing psychiatric emergencies with skill, employing evidence-based diagnostics and tailored therapeutic interventions.

• Applying comprehensive knowledge of adult psychological principles and relevant laws to ensure respectful and ethical patient care.

• Accurately assessing mental health statuses using established diagnostic criteria to formulate effective, individualized treatment plans.

• Responding promptly to crisis situations, providing immediate interventions, and coordinating referrals to appropriate resources while maintaining client confidentiality.

• Identifying clients who may need medication management and collaborating with medical professionals for ongoing evaluations.
\n
• Conducting thorough intake assessments to gather intake histories, offer crisis intervention strategies, and facilitate case referrals as needed.

• Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to discuss treatment approaches, monitor client progress, and contribute to comprehensive treatment reports.

• Formulating both individual and group therapy plans addressing a variety of mental health disorders, including emotional disturbances and family challenges.

• Continuously monitoring, assessing, and adjusting treatment plans based on patient feedback and therapeutic outcomes.

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date clinical records to support diagnostic evaluations and track improvements in client treatment.

The client base includes individuals across various age groups facing a range of mental health challenges from anxiety and depression to complex trauma and family dynamics. Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• An active and valid professional license to practice as a mental health therapist in the United States.

• A Master's degree or above in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Current licensure in the state of California as LPCC, LMFT, or LCSW is required.

Preferred Experience\n

While we welcome qualified candidates, experience in trauma-informed care, familiarity with teletherapy platforms, and previous work in outpatient settings is highly desirable. Compensation and Benefits\n

Gifted Hands Counseling Center offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 to $140,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. You will also have the opportunity to receive a generous sign-on bonus of $3,000. Additionally, we provide:
