What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including documenting observations and reporting unusual activity.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store parking areas loading zones and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor entrances exits and high-traffic areas while maintaining awareness of customer visitor and associate activity to support site rules and daily operations.
• Assist with access control de-escalation and/or coordination with local law enforcement or emergency personnel when needed in accordance with post orders and Allied Universal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement corrections and/or military experience or 5 or more years of armed security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
