What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a busy retail location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and/or critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner while maintaining an armed presence in accordance with post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store parking areas loading zones and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor customer and employee activity observe entrances and exits and report security-related concerns suspicious behavior and/or policy violations to management and local authorities when appropriate.
• Support loss prevention and asset protection efforts by documenting incidents assisting with access control and/or following established procedures for trespassing disorderly conduct and emergency situations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement corrections or military experience or 5 or more years of armed security experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
