As a Security Officer Armed Vehicle Patrol in Dallas TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license and an armed position requiring appropriate armed certification. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to patrons visitors and/or personnel by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and communicating with site leadership and/or public authorities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings retail areas parking areas and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity verify identification and/or access credentials when required and report suspicious behavior prohibited items and/or policy violations.
• Support security-related operations during opening closing deliveries and high-traffic periods while maintaining professional presence and following all post orders for an armed assignment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
