Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Vitality Wellness Therapeutic Clinic, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to analyze patients' trauma histories and identify key areas for intervention.
• Collaborate with patients to develop and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at facilitating trauma recovery and fostering resilience.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methods, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to deliver effective interventions.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, providing a multifaceted approach to help clients process their trauma and develop enduring coping strategies.
• Engage with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive, integrated approach to patient care.
• Provide timely crisis intervention and support for patients facing trauma-related emergencies, ensuring they feel safe and supported.
• Educate patients and their families about trauma, coping mechanisms, and resources available for ongoing support.
• Maintain precise and confidential documentation of patient interactions in line with legal and ethical standards.
• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and quality improvement initiatives focusing on trauma-informed care.
• Commit to ongoing professional development by staying abreast of the latest research and innovations in trauma therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a diverse clientele who have faced various forms of trauma, including but not limited to military veterans, abuse survivors, and individuals coping with mental health disorders stemming from significant life events. You will play a crucial role in assisting these individuals on their journey towards healing and empowerment.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Currently valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Pennsylvania.
• At least two years of post-licensure experience demonstrating a commitment to trauma-informed care.
• In-depth knowledge of trauma-related disorders and effective treatment modalities.
• A demonstrated ability in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions confidently and effectively.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to patient interactions.
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications.
• A collaborative mentality, capable of thriving within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience

While the minimum requirement is two years of experience, those with additional specialized training in trauma-informed practices or new therapeutic modalities will be highly regarded. Experience in community health settings, particularly with diverse populations, is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Benefits include:
