Database DeveloperApex has an opportunity for a Database Developer. Here are the details:Position: Database DeveloperLocation: Hybrid onsite in Boston, MA or Wyomissing, PADuration: 6+ MonthsOverview:Acquires requirements, designs and develops databases or systems that access or integrate with databases.Analyzes database requirements of the users, applications and operations and provides feedback.Configures and tests new business systems data stores.Provides recommendations including definition of physical structure, functional capabilities, security structure, and the backup and recovery processes.Develops and optimizes stored procedures.Documents system details and maintenance process and trains DBAs as needed.Strong knowledge of the development and deployment of enterprise-wide databases and related systems required.Strong skills in data modeling, physical database design and logic also essential.Required Skills:5-7 years of experience supporting/troubleshooting Server Applications - Windows and/or Linux.Experience supporting projects and software updates.Experience creating technical documents to be used for supporting application systems.EEO EmployerApex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
