Description - Your Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and complex clinical laboratory tests-spanning chemistry, hematology, immunology, and additional areas-following established protocols to ensure precise results.
• Evaluate test outcomes, resolve discrepancies, and perform maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Assist with the collection of specimens and prepare samples for analysis as needed.
• Maintain thorough documentation of all procedures, mentor new staff members or students, and uphold established laboratory quality standards.
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment while adhering to regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health qualification alongside preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certification Standards

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within the first year of employment.
• Maintain current certification throughout your tenure.
