Description - What You'll Do

• Conduct both routine and specialized clinical laboratory tests-including chemistry, hematology, immunology, and beyond-following established protocols.
• Evaluate test results for precision, promptly address discrepancies, and perform routine maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Support specimen collection and be responsible for preparing samples for analysis when necessary.
• Thoroughly document all laboratory procedures, mentor new personnel or students, and help maintain institutional quality standards.
• Ensure the work environment is clean and secure, adhering to all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree, along with preparation for ASCP or AMT certification.

Certifications

• Obtain ASCP or AMT Board Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of employment.
• Maintain current professional certification while employed.
