We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist to join our team at Periscope Spine and Joint Rehab Center in Elizabeth, New Jersey. With a team of highly skilled professionals, including two licensed physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant, we foster a collaborative and supportive environment. Our facility primarily serves patients with private medical insurance, allowing for personalized attention and care.

Work Environment

Located in the vibrant community of Elizabeth, NJ, our rehab center offers an onsite work setting that promotes teamwork and collaboration. You will work Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, which enables a balanced professional lifestyle. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients to establish their therapy objectives and requirements within a supportive healthcare setting.
• Manage a caseload with efficiency, aiming for an average of one patient per hour to ensure high-quality individualized care.
• Utilize evidence-based practice to develop and implement comprehensive care plans that address diverse patient needs.
• Provide a range of treatment techniques designed to alleviate pain, improve mobility, and promote functionality.
• Employ alternative therapeutic approaches to reduce reliance on medications and prevent the need for surgical interventions.
• Motivate and empower patients through their rehabilitation journey, helping them regain strength, flexibility, and balance.
• Document all patient interactions, treatment plans, and outcomes accurately in accordance with organizational policies.
• Regularly monitor and assess patient progress, adjusting care plans as necessary to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care and share valuable insights regarding individual patient cases.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of New Jersey.
• Clean clinical record, free from any disciplinary actions or board actions against your license.
• Strong foundation in manual therapy techniques and injury rehabilitation practices.
• Ability to develop and implement effective exercise regimens tailored to individual patient goals.
• Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly experience with platforms like WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability in delivering personalized, patient-centered care.
• Experience in designing wellness programs specific to rehabilitation needs.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
