Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mental health concerns, leading to accurate clinical diagnoses. For example, you will utilize standardized assessment tools and interview techniques to gather essential information during initial consultations.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clients’ specific needs, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions that promote adaptive coping strategies and enhance interpersonal relationships. You may run support groups that focus on anxiety, depression, and relationship issues.

• Provide emergency crisis intervention when clients face acute mental health crises, demonstrating skills to manage high-stress situations effectively.

• Maintain confidential client records in accordance with ethical standards and HIPAA regulations, including progress notes and treatment updates using secure electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care, sharing insights on client progress and contributing to discussions about treatment modifications as needed.

• Engage clients and their families by educating them on mental health issues, discussing available treatment options, and connecting them with community resources.

Qualifications\n

• Current licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPCC, LCSW) in California.

Compensation and Benefits\n
