Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify each client’s unique mental health needs, followed by the development of tailored treatment plans that support their emotional well-being.

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions using evidence-based interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), tailored to meet diverse client needs.

• Work collaboratively with medical staff, including case managers and physicians, to create an integrated patient care plan that addresses both physical and psychological aspects of health.

• Offer crisis intervention and immediate support for clients experiencing acute emotional distress or emergencies, ensuring a safe and effective response to their needs.

• Participate in community outreach programs to promote mental health awareness, reduce stigma, and educate the public on the importance of emotional support during hospice care.

Your primary focus will be working with patients and families facing terminal illnesses, illness-related challenges, and bereavement. This role emphasizes empathy and the ability to navigate sensitive discussions about grief, acceptance, and coping strategies, making it essential for you to connect meaningfully with clients from diverse backgrounds, including various cultural, ethnic, and socioeconomic groups.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and current license as a Licensed Marital and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
